Chapter 3 of the highly popular Deanery Demesne housing development, located in the North East of Armagh, has been approved this evening by local council.
The planning application submitted in October 2021 which will consist of 72 new homes will consist of three and four bedroom homes to include townhouse, semi detached and detached which are expected to be highly sought after.
The Deanery Demesne Development holds a distinct sense of grandeur with many high quality features and high quality attention to detail on the exterior and within each of the carefully designed homes.
Ryan McAtavey, Principal Architect at McAtavey Architects, who have been appointed to deliver the remaining phases of the developmet said
“Phase 3 will infill the development area between the recently constructed dwellings in Phases 1 and 2, and the existing dwellings at Sperrin Park. The overarching design concept was to provide an attractive, high-quality residential development that maximises privacy for existing and future residents. This phase of the development introduces 2 new house types; a new 4-bed detached dwelling and a 3-bed townhouse, each of which have been designed in the Georgian style of architecture that Armagh is synonymous with. A large mix of dwellings are arranged around a central ‘village green’, comprising a children’s play area and high-quality landscaping throughout.
Phase 3 Deanery Demesne
The release of previous phases has been a major talking point in the area, on both occasions Hannath Estate Agents office in Portadown had buyers camping out overnight to pick their preferred site and purchase their dream home.
Following the huge success of phases 1 and 2 and the well publicised need for housing in the area, Hannath can confirm that now phase 3 has been approved, works will begin at the end of 2022.. Alastair Glass, managing director of Hannath said “Deanery Demesne is as high a quality of new home that you will see and the demand for these houses is exceptional. We have been collecting names of interested buyers for several weeks already so this latest good news will be a big lift to the buyers chomping at the bit wanting to buy. Buyers and visitors to “the Deanery” widely comment on the space and mature surroundings before they even enter a home, so having seen the plans I have no doubt the same continuity and the same high quality and attention to detail from the builder TValley Construction will continue into the latest chapter in the Deanery story.”
Buyers seeking a home in 2023 are encouraged to get in touch with Alastair at Hannath on 02838 399911 or alastair@hannath.com and keep a close eye on the Hannath social media channels for more information expected this Summer.
